Phil & Teds has made some great improvements to some of their accessories. Some of the biggest changes include a sun canopy and a seat cushion on the Explorer doubles kit, zip-in, form-fitting sun and storm covers for the Explorer and the new Explorer cup holder that snaps right on the handle. Parents should take note that most of the Explorer accessories are compatible with the e3, Classic, Dash and Sport Buggy models except the Explorer sun covers, storm covers and cup holder only work with the Explorer. We still love the Pannier Bags (a must for any type of storage with two riders), the hangbag, and the travel bag.
Parents should also take note that while the infant seat adapters are compatible with all models (except the Vibe), ONLY the Explorer allows the use of an infant seat with the adapter AND a second rider in the doubles kit in the back. The adapters will work on the e3, Sport Buggy and Dash but not with a doubles kit at the same time. This, in my opinion, is the best new thing about the Explorer. Finally, a Phil & Teds inline stroller that can use the adapter bar to snap the baby in their infant seat up front AND have a sibling in the doubles kit in the back! It is what all of the parents have been waiting for!
