Britax Car Seats are widely recognized as being among the leaders in the car seat industry. They have a wide variety of models and colors to choose from. We've been using them ourselves as parents for years and we are excited to be carrying them now at StrollerMama.

The Roundabout is the original Britax convertible seat that is rear facing from 5-35 lbs. and can be forward facing up to 40 lbs. It is the most reasonably priced Britax and is perfect for cars with less room in the back seat. The Marathon is basically a larger version of the Roundabout that is also rearfacing from 5-35 lbs. but can remain forward facing up to 65 lbs.

The Diplomat is similar in size to the Roundabout but also offers some additional features: side wings that have True Side Impact Protection and an knob to easily adjust the harness and headrest. It can be used rear facing from 5-35 lbs. and can be forward facing up to 40 lbs. The Boulevard is similar in size to the Marathon but also includes side wings that have True Side Impact Protection as well as the knob for easy adjustment of the headrest and harness. It can be used rearfacing from 5-35 lbs. but can remain forward facing up to 65 lbs.

The Frontier is the newest Britax car seat to enter the market. Designed to keep larger kids in a five point harness longer, it is a harness-2-booster seat that is forward facing only. It can be used with a five point harness from two years old and 20 lbs. up to 80 lbs. It can then convert to a booster seat that can be used with kids up to 100 lbs.

Choosing the right car seat can be a confusing task. Between the two of us, we have Roundabouts, Marathons, Boulevards and Frontiers in our minivans to use with all of our kids.
